Life is about relationship

Today was a powerful day of witnessing what God is doing here in Tactic.  We began our day with the children at the school during their morning worship.  They start their school day praising and singing to God.  What a joy it was to worship so genuinely with them.  If only we would begin everyday like that!  What a time of entering into His presence.
The children hugged us as they went to their classes and we were so blessed by the love they showered on us.  I thought we came to minister to them but they ministered to us.
In the afternoon we visited with some of the sponsorship children and their families.  They welcomed us into their homes as if we they had always know us.  We came to bless the children but they blessed us with their sincere kindness and generosity.  They were intent on meeting us and knowing us.  It wasn't about the show, the Guatemalan's are very much about relationship.   Again, I have learned a valuable lesson that life should be about our relationships with each other and not about the "stuff".
